The World Uyghur Writers’ Union warmly congratulates the establishment of the Uyghur Post, founded at a time when racial genocide and unprecedented oppression continue in our homeland, and when the Uyghur cause is in urgent need of its own impartial, just, and independent media outlet.
We extend our highest respect and greetings to all dedicated members who have played a role—and will continue to play a role—in the founding and future work of the Uyghur Post.
We express our hope that the Uyghur Post will operate professionally, consistently, and for the long term, and we affirm our readiness to closely cooperate in all efforts that benefit the Uyghur cause.
